A Review of the English and Chinese Sentence Types From Functional Perspective
简述：
语法学家在划分英语基本句型时，对宾语补足语的分析存在一定的不足。之所以这样，是因为在对语法进行研究时，过于偏重形式上的分析，对功能层面上的解析重视不够。本文主要从功能的角度对英语各基本句型的内在联系进行探讨，力求澄清一些模糊认识。
Formalism and functionalism are two rival approaches to grammar study. Some problems existing in grammatical theories are caused by too much emphasis on forms in the study of grammar. The author of this article pays particular attention to the problem in the basic English sentence type “S+V+C”, trying to show that from a functional perspective a better solution might be proposed.
